The parish is divided into two parish wards which are known as Manvers Ward (South of the Village) and Trent Ward (North of the Village). Each parish ward has defined boundaries and nine councillors are elected for each parish ward.

MANVERS WARD

PENNY ASTILL, 1 Water Lane, Tel: 9332557. Serving Councillor who has lived in Radcliffe for over 40 years. Retired District Nurse now working as Palliative Care Nurse for Nottinghamshire Hospice. Interested in Health and Safety and maintaining the integrity of the village and its amenities.

ROD BREARS, 62 Cropwell Road, Tel: 9332065. Serving Councillor. He is a recently retired airline pilot and past Chairman of Radcliffe Conservatives. Chairman of the Planning and Environment Committee.

JANET MAUGHAN, 9 Lamcote Gardens, Tel: 9119368.  A Physiotherapist and a Councillor since 1991, she is interested in the Environment and local amenities.

MELANIE MCKECHNIE, 25 Orford Avenue, Tel: 9332989. Has lived in Radcliffe for over 10 years, and is passionate to preserve the character of the village. Enjoys helping to organise the various village events run by the council. She is currently Chairman of the Grange Hall and The Grange Management Committee.

GEORGIA MOORE, 9 Pimlico Close. Tel: 9335141. Serving Councillor. Has lived in Radcliffe all her life and is interested in all aspects of village life. A keen fundraiser and supporter of local charities. Currently Chairman of the parish council.

GORDON MOORE, 9 Pimlico Close. Tel: 9335141. He was born in Nottingham and attended High Pavement School. His working life was in energy industry sales and marketing. Chairman of the parish council Finance Committee. He became a Borough Councillor in 2004 for the Wiverton ward and is the current Mayor. He is a keen sportsman, playing tennis, swimming, walking and skiing and was formerly a national water polo referee.

JEAN SMITH,

1 Dewberry Lane, Tel 933 3616

Has lived in Radcliffe since 1969 and was married to her late husband, Wally, for more than 45 years. A Borough Councillor since 2000, she was recently appointed to the Cabinet with responsibility for Leisure Centre Strategy and Customer Communications.

JAMES SPENCER, 38 Orford Avenue, Tel: 9333033. Born in Radcliffe, works as a building contractor. Married with children, interested in gardening, backstage theatre and family amongst other things.

DOMINIC TOMPKIN

TRENT WARD

GRAHAM LEIGH-BROWNE, 31 Bingham Road, Tel: 9332349. A retired Chartered Surveyor and Town Planner, he has served on the Council since 1979, including 10 years as Chairman. He is past Chairman and vice-Chairman of the Notts. Wildlife Trust, where he is still a Trustee. He is Vice President of the RCAN.

JIM MCKECHNIE, 25 Orford Avenue, Tel: 9332989.

Has been living in the village for over 11 years. Has been happily married for 24 years, raised two children, both attended the Middle and Dayncourt schools in the past. Jim is a very open person, keen to take Radcliffe further by taking on board sensibly constructed comments to create a better future for the infrastructure of our village.

YVONNE PURSER, Tel: 9334900. A Radcliffe resident for over 30 years and a community nurse for nearly 20 years. Likes to put something back into the community. Hobbies include her dogs, caravanning and Family History.

PETER ROBINSON, 21 Lincoln Grove, Tel: 9335198. A retired Bank Manager, he is particularly interested in environmental matters and military history.

DAVID SMITH, 85 Whitworth Drive, Tel: 9334786. Has worked and lived in Radcliffe for over 35 years. Now retired. Keen to see improvements in the village that will benefit all. He is the Manvers Ward councillor on Rushcliffe Borough Council and is also vice chairman of the parish council. In his leisure time he enjoys bowling and fishing.

JOSEPHINE SPENCER, 21 Grandfield Avenue, Tel: 9332401 A housewife and service Councillor, she is a founder member of ROTSA. Is a Governor of the Infant School and enjoys golf and all sports.

BILL SYLVESTER

After 24 years in the Army, Bill spent 11 years working on local community development. Bill and wife Sara moved to Radcliffe in March 2008.

PAM THOMPSON, 2 Grandfield Avenue, Tel 9335382. Has lived in Radcliffe 26 years and is a retired children's social worker. Has been a governor at the Infants and Dayncourt schools and is a lifeguard assistant. An active member of Radcliffe Drama Group and RadVentures. Enjoys football, walking and dance. Wants to be very active and a voluntary litter picker.

ROGER UPTON, 23 Oaktree Avenue, Tel: 9333881. A retired Chartered Building Surveyor who has lived in Radcliffe since 1975. Interested in the local built environment and village community and has been a Governor at the Infant and Dayncourt Schools. He is a member of the Residents Association and the local Lions International Club.
