On behalf of the Parish Council, can I apologise unreservedly for the worry, upset and confusion we may have caused you.
The majority of councillors did not know about the proposal for a dog agility area until the agenda for the November 21st Amenities meeting was posted.
Going forward, any major changes to our village assets will be consulted on in the correct manner.
We work for you, we are spending your money, so we have no right to unilaterally impose items like this.
I am sure my colleagues agree with me that we need to improve our dialogue with residents. We are working towards this.
