The Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II – Monday 19th September 2022
For those who intend to watch, St Mary’s Church and The Methodist Church will be screening the Queen’s funeral service.
This is an opportunity for people to gather with the community to pay their respects to Britain’s longest-serving monarch.
At St Mary’s, the plan for the morning is as follows:
10:30am-11am ~ St Mary’s bells will be rung (half-muffled)
10:30am ~ Church doors will be opened to allow people to light candles and also, to enjoy (free) refreshments
11am ~ Start of the service
For The Methodist Church, doors are open from 9:30am.
